This is the #1 fear. You are not responsible for carrying the conversation. If your mind goes blank, we'll say: "It's totally normal to feel frozen. Let's just start with what it was like to drive here." We are experts at low-pressure, open-ended questions. Your only job is to show up.
You Did the Hard Part.
Now, the Easy Part.
Making the appointment was the cognitive marathon.
This guide is our rebellion against uncertainty. Here is exactly what happens next.
Step 1: Finding Us.
The Address
10000 Watson Rd, Suite 1L6
St. Louis, MO 63126
We're in the North Building (closer to Watson Rd).
The Parking
Parking in front and back lots.
Grab any spot. There are no assigned spaces and no wrong answers.
The Door
Enter main doors → Take stairs down one level.
Turn right at the bottom. Look for the Mr. Rogers doormat. Door is unlocked.
Step 2: The Anti-Waiting Room.
We hate sterile medical waiting rooms. Ours is designed to be a place to decompress.
Tap "Check In," type your first name. That's it. No clipboard. No paperwork.
Scan the QR code on the kiosk. Connected instantly. No password hunting.
Soft chairs, space to spread out. No buzzing lights. Just chill vibes.
Free snacks and drinks. Help yourself. Glucose is good for the brain.
Step 3: The Session.
The Environment
- Warm Lighting: No overhead fluorescents.
- Fidgets: Sensory tools are regulation instruments. Use them.
- Seating Choice: Couch, chair, or floor. You choose.
- Shoes Optional: Get comfortable.
The Conversation
This is not an interrogation. We don't use a clipboard. We start with low-pressure curiosity:
"So, what's been on your mind lately?"
You are the expert on your life. We are just the guides.
Step 4: The Predictable Goodbye.
We hate the abrupt "time's up" ending. It's jarring. We use a Predictable Wrap-Up Protocol:
- We summarize themes (so you don't forget what we talked about).
- We pick one small thing to focus on (sometimes it's just "rest").
- We confirm logistics for next time.
You will never leave wondering "What now?"

First Visit FAQ
Nope. We handle logistics in the most low-anxiety way possible. There is no awkward fumbling for a credit card at the end of the session. We process payment after your appointment using the card on file. Your focus should be on the connection, not the transaction.
Please do. Squishmallows, weighted blankets, knitting projects, emotional support water bottles—all are welcome. We are a nervous-system-first practice. If it helps you regulate, it belongs in the room.
We understand executive dysfunction. You will never be shamed or penalized for being late. We will simply start when you arrive and use the remaining time. We don't do guilt trips here.
You tell us, and we high-five you for advocating for yourself. Seriously. We will happily provide direct referrals to other trusted specialists. Your well-being is more important than our business.
